Offer of Investment and Innovation Opportunities
The catalog of the Offer of Investment and Innovation Opportunities, made by Impronta with the collaboration of WeDo Cowork and the University of O’Higgins collects the main competitive and comparative advantages to consider the O’Higgins region a possible destination for direct investment. The most relevant sectors, as well as the bidders qualified by a study that are in good conditions to provide services to investment companies that are evaluating the possibility of settling in regions, in addition to the testimony of emerging companies already installed. In the year 2022, the Region of Libertador General Bernardo O’Higgins, in Chile, a relevant agri-food space, close to the city of Santiago and with a Regional Innovation Strategy, 2019-2027, which links the innovation fund for competitiveness with the attraction of FDI. The Yield Lab Latam SpA (YLL) installation was attracted, the first innovative entrepreneurship accelerator in the Ag tech sector, with the support of InvestChile, the Regional Government and INIA Rayentue, where Impronta manages to formulate the project taking advantage of the use of regional incentives and the existence of strategic allies to facilitate installation of commercial offices of YLL in the city of Rancagua

Study on Ag Tech Ecosystems in relevant referent cities for the O’Higgins region
Regional mapping of the AG TECH Innovation ecosystem in the O’HIGGINS Region, research that is part of case studies on relevant agro-technological cities, inside and outside Latin America (LatAm). In its conclusions, the study highlights that the regional innovation ecosystems built are the product of collaborative and competitive work so that they can generate value and shared use results over time. In which an incubation and catalyst center among the agents invites the meeting to solve real and systematic challenges in the long term. Connecting technological and commercial solutions with the global and local industry. In this sense, it is essential that some relevant agent plays the accelerator’s role.

The Corporate Strategic Plan (PEC)
The Corporate Strategic Plan (PEC) was the first of its kind formulated, after approval by the Corporate Board of Directors of the Strategy and Corporate Development Axis, under the current Law No. 21,074 of Regionalization of Chile, of 2018, and the first carried out by a counterpart agency in the country. More than 50 agents, agencies, corporate professionals and national and international institutions have collaborated, between June 2022 and January 2023, with their participation in different conversations, meetings and forums organized to contribute relevant topics and current ones that allowed nourishing the collected contents, as part of the interactive process of corporate strategic programming. This version includes the suggestions and assessments of three corporate directors, a consultation process that lasted until February 2023. The Corporate Strategic Plan defines three regional mesoeconomic strategic objectives, such as, cohesion, competitiveness and cooperation.
